Only one campground left.

I love days like today. We found quirky little stops every hour or so during our drive.
first stop- almost heaven @ Rotary Park

Ok so fun story. Our Pink Jeep guide (in Missouri) gave us this little Jesus to take with us (he was a Jeep guide, insurance salesman and traveling preacher). Since then, we have been seeing Jesus everywhere 😊.

Next stop- lunch at Hillbilly Hot Dogs

The line was actually out the door. We sat in a booth in a school bus

Guess who followed us inside...

Next stop Charleston University

After learning about the Flatwoods monster, we stopped to check it out for ourselves

Our next last stop was supposed to be only two hours away. But that was about 4 1/2 hrs ago because we are sitting in traffic!
on a positive note- Kaylee got up to get a drink and came back to the crab on her seat 😊

With the exception of the head trauma incident, and of course the overheating during the first hour of the journey, this trip has been pretty smooth. Parking the camper each night has been so easy. Some nights we didn't even need to level. So, it stands to reason that eventually, the time would come. That time was tonight. We were two hours from camp, when we hit traffic. For no reason, we sat for over an hour and a half. When we finally pulled in to camp, we were the most unlevel we have ever been. Needed to go up 15 inches and 13 inches. So we moved to the site next to us. Not much better. We are up 6 bocks on one side and 9 on the other. Still about 4 inches off but that's as good as we are gonna get. Oh- and I forgot to mention it started to pour as soon we pulled in.

So we ended the night with bbq chicken, fried potatos and a movie.
